Taking care of your mental health doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it thrives within the context of our community and relationships. Couples therapy and/or family therapy focus on addressing relational issues, helping you navigate the complexities of interpersonal dynamics in relationship.
My goal is to create a supportive environment that empowers you and your loved ones to learn essential tools and practice the skills needed to cultivate the relationships you desire. Each participant is encouraged to embrace discomfort, engage in self-reflection, and enhance their awareness of both their own emotional needs and those of their loved ones. We’ll explore the impact each person has on the relationship and identify new communication skills to improve connection and understanding.
When our closest relationships are in turmoil, it can feel overwhelming. In these moments, our nervous systems can enter auto-pilot mode, causing us to sleepwalk through the very connections we value. Instead of consciously co-constructing the fulfilling relationships we envision, we might find ourselves merely going through the motions.
